Hawaii Fisheries Observers

Adventurous biologists to observe and sample catches on-board commercial fishing boats off the Hawaiian coast.
While on-board fishing vessels, biologists identify fish species and collect and record data on the sex, length and quantity for species caught. This fishery data is used by government agencies such as National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to manage commercial fisheries. Strenuous working conditions. Opportunities year round.

Requires B.S. in Biology or natural sciences and a flexible attitude.
Pass a physical exam, and be a U.S. citizen. Previous sea experience a MUST.
